Anna was born between about 1881-85, the exact date unknown. She was the daughter of Franciszek Tomoń and Apolonia Bogaczewicz. She emigrated to the United States. An arrival list at Ellis Island shows Anna Tomon, 20, from Blizne (which is near Golcowa), arrived in New York on 16 March 1905, on the ship "Finland" from Antwerp.
Anna was a sister of my grandfather. She settled at or near Cleveland, Ohio. She married Johann Babiarz, later called Peter Barber. She passed away in 1914, only about 33 years old. [1]
