The grave marker has 1835 - 1895, but his father had died by the end of 1833. The 1850 census suggests birth in 1829. He was a farmer, and lived with his mother, brother Alfred Theadore and sister Aurelia Caroline. The 1850 census suggests that he was born in 1829 (age 21), but later census suggest 1833 o4 1834.
