Carrie was born in 1900. She was the daughter of Ellsworth Tompkins and Ina George. ^{[1] [2]}

She married on 20 Feb 1921 at Scott County, Tennessee to A. Y. Stonecipher ^[3] and they had children: ^[4]

3. Mildred, b. abt. 1929

Carrie passed away in 1974 and is buried at Mount Vernon Cemetery in Burrville, Tennessee. ^[5]
