Biography

Raymond Tompkins was born on 19 August 1910 ^[1] in Smallthorne, Staffordshire, England, the son of Arthur Tompkins and Rosa Redding.^{[2] [3]}

In 1911 Raymond (age 7 months) was living in Smallthorne with his parents and brother. His father was a police constable. ^[2]

When Raymond was 24 he married Dorothy Ellen Loveday in 1934. Their marriage was registered in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. ^[4]

In 1939 Raymond (age 29) was living in Buckinghamshire.^[1]

Raymond died at the age of 77 on 13 May 1988 in Buckinghamshire.^[5]

He was buried in Amersham, Buckinghamshire.^[6]
