Many of our readers, both in Manaro and Gippsland, will hail with regret the announcement of the demise of Mr. F. P. Toms, of Cathcart, and formerly of Coolamalong, which event occurred at his residence, Cathcart, on Saturday last; the remains of the deceased were interred in the Bombala Cemetery on Monday, 26th instant. For many months past, the late Mr. Toms was laid up with an attack of paralysis. Previous to his departure from this part of the district for Cathcart, the deceased was extensively engaged in the cattle trade from Manaro to Gippsland.
