William Toms was born in Bedfordshire, England.

William was born in about 1798.

In 1820 William of Stagsden was sentenced to one month's hard labour in Bedford Gaol for a "misdemeanor" . ^[1]

He died in Stagsden in 1828 aged 30. ^[2]
