Henry Tonkin migrated from Cornwall to Victoria.

Henry Tonkin son of Jacob and Jane was baptised 21 May 1833 in St Agnes, Cornwall, England. ^[1]

He married Selina Bawden 14 May 1860 at the parish church in St Blazey, Cornwall. ^[2]

Selina Tonkin died age 30 in 1869, and Henry married again, to Mary Rowe later that same year.

Henry with his wife Mary and his children Henry and James M emigrated to Australia on the ship Queen of Nations, arriving in Victoria in Jun 1873. ^[3]

Henry Tonkin died age 64 ^[4] and was buried in the Eaglehawk Cemetery in Victoria. ^{[5] [6]}
