A colonist of 57 years was Mrs Whear, mother of Mr J. H. Whear, undertaker, who passed away at her residence, Station road, rather suddenly on Thursday morning. The deceased lady, who had attained 75 years and nine months, spent the greater portion of her life in Castlemaine, and came to Williamstown about ten years ago. The cortege will leave her late residence this morning for the local cemetery. [4]
