I havent heard back from you about the United Kingdom Project breaking up into the individual country-level projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. I hope all is well with you. I assume you dont wish to join any of them at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.
On 11 Jun 2014 you merged two records (Merged Beers-179 into Beers-82) however fundamental information on the merged record is wrong. Despite a lifetime of research by Mary Louise Regan, and six published volumes of her Beers Genealogy, she was never able to tie Jabez into the other Beers lines, ie his parents remain unknown. I have put another couple of hundred hours into the mystery, and there has not been any evidence offered so far except for this record's accountability-proof "more than one of our members report this". I am new to the Wiki here, and not sure how to proceed.
We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.
Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please dont assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.
Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.
Hi Bob! I'm interested in your 'Notes' for Cromwell-118. Do I understand correctly that this says Gyles Cromwell is the father of Thomas in the profile? What does N388 refer to - is that the source? Thanks!
Hi Bob! Hey, thanks for finding those duplicates for Kay and I. I have completed the merges both on Daniel Mann and Amy Woodworth! We appreciate your assist! Scott
Hi Bob, Thanks for all your great work on the Woodworths! I'm now the profile manager for Foote-986 and have a question for you: May I please delete your comment on that profile from May 2016? Text is: "Foote-1800 and Foote-986 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, same wife. estimated birth date" . I verified that the merge was completed, so I'm pretty sure you'll be fine with this, but am still learning the profile management ropes and wanted to confirm directly with you just in case. If it's easy, you can delete the comment directly -- or I'll do it when I hear from you.
