I sent you a message a couple of weeks ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have not yet heard back from you. I hope you are well!
If I don’t hear back from you by the end of April, I will assume you no longer wish to be a member of the Germany Project and I’ll go ahead and remove you from our member roster. You are, of course, welcome to rejoin at any time via our G2G sign-up post.
Best wishes,
Traci ~ Germany Project co-leader
The Germany Project Leaders are doing their semi-annual check-in with all project members and we want to verify that you’re still interested in being a member of the Project. Please respond by private message and let me know.
Are you currently working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? If not, take a look at our main Project page for a full list. We recently launched a new Profile Improvement Team and are seeking new team members. Let me know if you’re interested.
We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.
I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Traci ~ Germany Project co-leader
Thank you for adding your DNA Test to your profile on WikiTree. Getting Started with DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.
DNA at WikiTree provides a visual way for you to find others who have tested and have the potential of having common ancestors. To get the best results, you need to continue adding sourced profiles for your ancestors until you can connect to existing profiles in WikiTree. If you have exhausted what you know on one line, try a different one. 24 hours after you connect to an existing profile, your test will have populated on the profiles of your ancestors and their descendants, where others with potential matches may also appear.
Let me know if you have any questions, and have fun!

PS One of our mentors created a tutorial for the GEDCOMpare process that others found very helpful. I hope that you will too.
As you have been a member of WikiTree for a few weeks now I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.
Has the New Member How-To been helpful or left you with any questions?

Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

I've been doing well with the site and I am introducing my work to multiple cousins hoping to get them involved and contributing. The How-To was very helpful and there is still much for me to learn. After adding multiple ancestors and collateral lines I had to pause a bit but I am beginning to pick up where I left off. Thanks for reaching out to me!
I am pleased you are getting on well with the site, and thank you for trying to get your cousins involved 😊, hopefully they will.
Peggy, Lothar are I are here to help whenever you need ut
Take care Karen
Thank you so much 😊. I am here to help you whenever you need it, and I also learn from some of the questions I am asked, so ask anything you need to, and have fun
Take care Karen
If you use the search box at the top of each page, you can find all the profiles for a particular name. If you don't find the one you are looking for and think someone needs to be added, it would be really helpful to contact me first. I can often find the existing profiles because names are often spelled in different crazy ways. WikiTree really doesn't want duplicate profiles - this is a one profile per person site and we all share them. The Acadian project uses standard names and locations and we have lots of sources. When you get to this point, I'll send you links to the info.
Welcome! Cindy Bourque Cooper, Co-Leader, Acadian Project
I am pleased to confirm and welcome you to the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together.
I would suggest starting with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.
I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site.
Happy tree climbing
Lothar ~ WikiTree Greeter
P.S. If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section on your profile page.
