Biography

 Marie Celeste Toups, daughter of Zepherin Toups and Celeste Ameliana Gaudet, was born 26 Sep 1855 in Thibodaux, Louisiana.[1]
 Marie married Oscar Bourgeois, son of Zenon Bourgeois and Louise Elena Gaudet, on 26 Apr 1873 in Thibodaux, Louisiana.[2]
 They had one known child together:

  • Louis Thomas Bourgeois: bn. ca. 1874; d. 1949

 Celeste died on 12 Sep 1875 and was buried in the Oscar Bourgeois Family Tomb in the Saint Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux, Louisiana.[3]
