Biography

Hilarion J. Toutant was born on 10 August 1856 in Canada, son of Joseph Gaspard Toutant (1828–~1895) and Caroline Carpentier (1833– ).[1]

Hilarion married Melina Charron (born in 1867 in Canada). Their known son was Richard Toutant (1891–~1970)

Hilarion (28) married Marie Emilie Charron (17) (born on 1 November 1867 in Saint-Hubert, Champlain, Quebec, Canada; daughter of Joseph Charron and Marie Philomene Lamarre) in 1885. Their known children were:

  1. Albert Joseph Toutant (1886–~1966)
  2. Mary Louise Toutant (~1895–~1985)
  3. Joseph Toutant (1901–~1970)
  4. William Joseph Toutant (1904–1904)
  5. Thomas Daniel Toutant (~1907–~1961)

Hilarion died on 14 August 1919 in Essexville, Bay County, Michigan, United States, aged 63.
