Biography

Joseph Tower was born on 2 Mar 1844 in Rockport, Westmorland Co., New Brunswick, son of Lemuel Tower (~1809 - 1885) and Delilah (Ward) Tower (1811 - 1878).

Enumerated with Joseph Tower was Loretta Tower, age 12. Although listed with the other children, it seems unlikely that she is a daughter due to her age. The common interpretation is that she is a daughter. It's likely that she has been adopted and in her Death Certificate, her parents were given as Joseph and Elizabeth.

On birth registration for son Irwin,[1] his father Joseph is listed as born in Rockport
