Biography
Son of George Tower and Ruth Wellington.
In 1861 he was listed as a domestic in the household of Ephraim Steeves.
He married twice.
He was a sawyer at the 1901 Census. His household in Hillsborough that year consisted of:
- Amasa (head, age 54) b. 3 September 1846
- Angelina (wife, 39) b. 5 June 1870
- Percival (son, 11) b. 3 August 1889
- Arlington (son, 9) b. 31 Aug 1891
- Alberta (dau., 2) b. 11 Dec 1898
Research notes
There seems much discrepancy in his dob. 1901 Census shows date which is probably correct within a year or 2.
