Henry was born about 1750. He was the son of Stokley Towles and Jane Sparks-Wharton. He passed away in 1836. When he died, he left entire estate to only his full sister Mary Towles Clark as he HAD NO CHILDREN. His estate included much of what he inherited from his father Stokley Towles. He had 13 other half siblings, 10 of which were the children of Stokley and his first wife Ann Vallott. Henry was also the administrator of his father's estate which apparently was not settled. The courts determined his estate should be distributed to all his siblings and if they were deceased their heirs. The case James Clark vs EXRS of Henry Towles includes a gold mine of the complete heirs of Stokley Towles up until 1846 when the case was settled.
