DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elizabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elizabeth:
While the dates of birth and death do not match Townsend-40 and Townsend 236 have the exact same parents and 1 of the same husbands (Lockwood-1). The only child on Townsend-236, whose name is Joseph Ludlam (Ludlam-50), is unsourced and appears to be a duplicate of the Joseph Ludlam Jr (Ludlam-2) on this profile. Ludlam-50's father Lee Ludlam (Ludlam-48) is likely a duplicate to the father, Joseph Ludlam I (Ludlam-27), of Joseph Ludlam Jr. I understand that there may be persons that really existed for some of these "duplicates" but they need to be untangled or merged and the correct dates and places determined or at the very least detached from the persons who have the duplicated persons attached. as near as I can figure, at minimum that would be Gershom Lockwood (Lockwood-1).
I've reread this several times and I hope I haven't confused the profile numbers, but whoever looks at this should be able to determine what I mean 🤔
Townsend-9516 and Townsend-40 appear to represent the same person because: Both represent the spouse of Gideon Wright, who also is duplicated; likewise the parents of Elizabeth Townsend are duplicated; also the parents of Gideon Wright.
I think there is a problem with which Gershom Lockwood is attached to Elizabeth Wright born 1643-1645. I think she was married to Gershom Lockwood born 6 Sept 1643 in Aug 1664. It is pretty confusing with multiple generations of Gershom Lockwoods and mulitple marriages. Or are their multiple Elizabeth Wrights as well?
Townsend-236 and Townsend-40 are not ready to be merged because: Possibly a reject. The parents information is too far off, and diverges completely going up the mother's lines.

here's the link to compare son Joseph (who have different fathers): https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:MergePerson&user1_name=Ludlam-50&user2_name=Ludlum-2&action=compare
Seems unlikely she married anyone in 1670. At least according to WikiTree, Gideon didn't die until 6 Jun 1685.--Gene

A marriage date should not be after a spouse's death date.
