David was born in Rumney Marsh (then part of Boston, now Chelsea) in 1699.[1] His baptism was recorded at Boston's Second Church (Old North) on 2 Jul 1699.[2] He and Mary Huchason/Hutchinson recorded their intention to marry in Lynn on 1 Nov 1724.[3] They had four children: Mary[4], David[5], Martha, and Mehitable[6]. He died of fever in Lynnfield 31 July, 1774, in his 76th year.[7]
Research Notes
Name at birth recorded as "Jonathan." However, he had a living older brother of that name born 1 Jan 1697/8, and baptized 3 Apr 1698[8] whose 1762 grave marker gives his age consistent with birth. David was baptized as David a week after the supposed birth of the second Jonathan.
