Biography

Wesley was born 5 Nov 1902 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.[1] He was the son of Frank Townsend and Jessie Hall. [2]

In 1910 he was living in Chattanooga Ward 1, Hamilton, Tennessee.[3] The household included Frank H Townsend age 40 born in New York, wife Jessie C Townsend age 30 born in Ohio, son Wesley Townsend age 7 born in Tennessee and daughter Emma R Townsend age 5 born in Tennessee. Frank was a foreman at a foundry.

On 10 Jul 1913 Frank H Townsend, Mrs. Jennie C Townsend, Master Wesley H Townsend age 10 and Miss Emma R Townsend age 8 arrived at New Orleans, Louisana from Puerto Limon, Costa Rica. Both Wesley and Emma were born in Chattanooga, Tennessee.[4]

On 1 July 1919 he was working as a checker in municipal engineering in Gatun, Panama Canal Zone.[1]

In 1920 he was living in Gatun, Civilians In Canal Zone, Panama Canal Zone.[5] The household included Frank H Townsend age 47, wife Jessie C Townsend age 32, son Wesley H Townsend age 16 and daughter Emma R Townsend age 14.

On 8 Jan 1923 Jessie Townsend age 40, Wesley Townsend age 20 and Emma R Townsend age 18 arrived from Cristobal, Canal Zone at New York, New York.[6]

On 12 Dec 1927 Wesley Townsend, born 2 Nov 1902, arrived from Cristobal, Canal Zone at New York, New York.[7] He listed is address as Houghton, Michigan.

Wesley H Townsend and Olive Blanche Trebilcock were married 13 Jun 1931 in Houghton, Houghton, Michigan. Wesley was a student, and his residence was Catun, Canal Zone.[8]

Wesley and Olive were divorced 9 Oct 1933.[9] There were no children.

On 10 Apr 1939 Wesley H Townsend age 3 and Virginia Townsend age 29 arrived from Cristobal, Canal Zone at New York, New York.[12] Their address was 307 West 15th Street, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

In 1940 he was living in Balboa Town, Balboa, Panama Canal Zone.[13] The household included Wesley Townsend age 37 born in Tennessee, wife Virginia C Townsend age 30 born in the Panama Canal Zone and mother-in-law Alice P Clement age 65 born in Illinois. Wesley was an associate engineer with the secretary of surveys.

On 2 Dec 1942 Wesley H Townsend age 39, Virginia Townsend age 32 and Frank C Townsend age 1 arrived from Cristobal, Canal Zone at New York, New York.[14] Wesley was born 5 Nov 1902 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Virginia was born 15 Nov 1909 in Ancon, Canal Zone to American parents. Frank was born 24 Nov 1940 in Panama R de P to American parents.

On 21 May 1952 Wesley H Townsend age 49 born in Tennessee, Virginia Townsend age 42 born in the Canal Zone, Frank C Townsend age 11 born in Panama and Sydney B Townsend age 8 born in Panama arrived from Cristobal, Canal Zone at New York, New York.[15]

On 15 Jul 1955 Wesley Townsend, Virginia Townsend, Frank Townsend and Sydney Townsend arrived from Cristobal, Canal Zone at New York, New York.[16]

He was living in Ocala, Florida in 1997.[17]

He died 10 May 2000 in Ocala, Florida.[18][19] He was a civil engineer.
