Biography
Rear-Adm John Townshend was a member of the aristocracy in British Isles.
John Townshend was born on 28 March 1798 in Raynham, Norfolk, England. He was the son of John Townsend (Son of 1st Marquess) and his wife Georgiana Ann Poyntz.
He died on 10 September 1863 as a result of a fall from his horse in the grounds of his home, Raynham Hall, and he was buried at East Raynham, Norfolk. England
He was succeeded in his titles by his eldest son John.
