Biography
Herbert was born in 1885 in Lincoln, NZ, the son of Edward Townshend and Margaret Johnston. [1]
In 1911 aged 26 years, he married Elsie Anderson in NZ. [2]
Herbert passed away in 1948 in NZ aged 63 years [3] and is buried at the Kelvin Grove Cemetery in Palmerston North, NZ. [4]
