Biography

Mary Townsley was the daughter of George Townsley and Ann Shooter. She first married Rennard Hollis son of Rennard Mawson and Lydia Hollis. Rennard Hollis and Mary had the following children:

1. George Hollis born 1877 and died 1877.
2. Florence Hollis born 1880.
3. Sarah Jane Hollis born 1882, she married Herbert Marshall and died 1939.
   

Mary next married George Henry Hawksworth and they had the following children:

1. Ann Renhard Hawksworth born 31 May 1888, she married James Frear and died 1961.
2. Arthur Hawksworth born 1890.

Mary was living with her parents and daughter Ann during 1891 in Shipley Yorkshire. Mary was living with sister and her family during 1901,
