They married Nov. 17,1791 in Cumberland Co PA. and had 9 children, (1) Joseph, married(i) _____ Townsley, (ii) Sara Scott; (2) James, married Sarah Blakeslee, daughter of Captain David Blakeslee Sr; (3) William, married Jane Bruce; (4) George, married in 1831 to Polly Blakeslee, daughter of David Blakeslee Jr.; (5) Eleanor or Ellen, married Samuel Heath; (6) Jane, married James Gray; (7) John, married Sarah Blakeslee, daughter of David Blakeslee Jr. (8) Robert, married Betsy Blakeslee, daughter of David Blakeslee Jr; (9) Betsy, married Jesse Blakeslee, son of Captain David Blakeslee Sr.
