Convicts After the Third Fleet
Ann Tozer was transported to Van Diemens Land (now Tasmania, Australia) for stealing. She arrived on the Majestic on 21 January 1839[1]. She married James Shuttleworth in 1841 and they had 4 children. Ann and her children left Launceston for South Australia on either the 8th or the 20th or September 1848.[2] Ann was convicted of stealing 33 pounds on 28 November 1854 and sentenced to 2 years hard labour.[3]
