Biography

Benjamin was born in 1730. He is the son of (Tego) Teague Tracey and Katherine Warnell. [1]

Notes

On November 11, 1760 he assigned his lease, Teague's Pleasant Ridge, held of the Lord Proprietary to Andrew Smith (BALR B#H:430)

In 1760 Tracey surveyed 43 acres Addition to Teague's Plasnat Ridge (BA Co. Upatented Certificate #77).

Oct 20, 1761 Benjamin sold 67 acreas Teague's Pleasant Ridge to Abraham Ensor (BALR B#M:210)

Jan 14, 1767 he conveyed 32 1/2 acrs of the same tract to Smith (BALRB#P451).

1768 Benjamin signed a petition for the removal of the county seat from Joppa to Baltimore Town (IBCP:32)

In 1773 he was a taxable in Middle River Upper Hundreds.

In 1783, Bazzel Tracey was listed as owning 199 acreas of Tracey's Pleasant Ridge in North Hundred. There was a one story log dwelling house 16 x 12, and a log barn 32 x 28 (c:27). (Unknown when Benjamin conveyed this land.)
