Biography
Anthony Tracy, of Stanway, Gloucestershire, 2nd son of John Tracy by his wife Anne Atkyns, his paternal grandmother was Katherine, eldest daughter. of Sir Anthony Keck, M.P. In 1729 Anthony took the name of Keck, his grandmother's maiden name by a condition in the will of his great-uncle Francis Keck, which enabled him to inherit the manor of Great Tew, Oxfordshire. He married on 3 Aug 1736 to Lady Susan Hamilton, daughter of James, 4th Duke of Hamilton [S], whose 1st wife. (not the mother of Lady Susan) was a daughter of Robert, 2nd Earl of Sunderland.
Anthony Keck was MP for New Woodstock 1753-1767 in the interest of the Duke of Marlborough.
