Dinah was married to John Wheeler by July 6, 1725 when she posted administration bond for his estate. She was married to John Cross by July 17, 1726 when she signed John Wheeler's inventory (BCF:680). On July 6, 1725 John Wheeler, William Wheeler, Jr, and George Hitchcock (step-father) were her sureties.
The estate of George Hitchcock was inventoried Dec 21, 1747 by Samuel Owings and John Willmott, Jr, who appraised his property a 180.3.3 pounds. John Bond and Mary Walker signed as creditors, and Mary Hitchcok and Mary Tracey siged as kin. John Tye, executre, filed the inventory on Febuary 13, 1747 (MINV 35:440).

Colonial Families of Maryland: Bound and Determined to Succeed

By Robert William Barnes

Genforum shows the parents of "Dinah Tracey as Teague Tracey (b. est 1670) and Mary James (b. ca 1672 in Anne Arundel Co MD)"
Additionally, "George Hitchcock, Dinah's stepfather and 2nd husband to Mary James, was one of her sureties for the Adminstrative Bond for John Wheeler's estate. Dinah received 1/3 of John Wheeler's estate, as did each of the two children that Dinah had by John Wheeler before his death. As I mentioned earlier, John Tracey was one of the witnesses of the will of Dinah's son, Solomon Cross. The Tracey family also intermarried into the Merryman family. Joseph Cross, whom I believe was the brother of John Cross who married Dinah Tracey, married Elizabeth Merryman."

I don't believe there should be two husbands named John Cross - there is only one husband.

Suggest her husbands be merged.

Wheeler-5224 and Wheeler-6225 appear to represent the same person because: They have the same husband. Confirmation of the birth dates but these are the same person. Dinah actually has several profiles on wikitree; a lot of confusion with Wheeler/Lane/Cross/Teague last names.

Confirming her parents and maiden name is Teague; Wheeler was first marriage; John Cross was 2nd husband.

She should be merged in these two profiles, and then with the other duplicates.

Wheeler-5224 and Tracy-160 are not ready to be merged because: conflicting mother and father
