Biography
Duclin Trahan was born December 25, 1841 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Olivier Trahan, fils and Adelaide Manceau.[1] His father died in the year after Duclin was born. His mother remarried shortly thereafter, and in 1860 Duclin was living with them and his half-siblings in Opelousas, Louisiana.[2]
