Biography

Soloman Trainer was born in New York, one source lists New York City, to immigrant Irish immigrants. His father died and he grew up with his Mother, Rose Donnelly, and step-father, Denis McHenry and they moved to Philadelphia. He had many half-brothers & sisters. They were all successful at a family shoe business for many years in Philadelphia. Solomon appears to be the main proprietor of the business after his Step-Father died.
