Murray Lewis Trask was born on 24 Jan 1889 in Yarmouth,Nova Scotia., Canada. He was the son of Samuel Trask and Mabel Wyman. This family immigrated to the United States in 1893, settling in Lynn, Essex, Massachusetts, where other members of his father Samuel's family lived. At the time of his World War I draft registration, Murray lived aboard the steamer Reliance in the port of Boston; he was a deck hand for the Boston Sand & Gravel Co. Murray died at about age 51 in October 1941; he was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn.
