Pvt. Clarence Trask was Killed in Action during World War II.
Biography
Clarence was born to Walter and Emily Cook Trask in Salem, Massachusetts on August 9, 1908. [1][2]
Clarence enlisted in the United States Army on September 18, 1943. [3]
He was killed in action in 1944. [4][3] At the time of his death, Pvt. Trask's unit was preparing to attack the German Siegfried Line and had, In September of 1944, set up in the vicinity of Maastricht, Holland. [5]
His body was returned to the US in 1948 [6], and he is interred at Highland Cemetery in Ipswich, Massachusetts. [7]
