Biography

George Traut was born on 8 Sep. 1764 in New Hanover, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Balthazar Traut and his wife Eva Moser, daughter of Paulus Moser and his wife Eva. [1] [2]

George married Elizabeth Guldin, daughter of John Guldin [3].

George died on 12 March 1853 at Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania and was buried at Kensington Union Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.[1] As remains at Kensington Union Cemetery were removed to Northwood Cemetery Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania his were probably moved as well.[4]
