Biography

Anna was baptised on 8 December 1734 in Rhinebeck, Dutchess, New York, USA. She was the daughter of Johann Sebastian Traber and Anna Christina (Uhl) Treber. St. Peter’s Lutheran Rhinebeck baptism record for Anna Maria Dec. 8 1734 gives dob and lists parents as Sebastian and Christina Treber. Witnesses were Joseph Reichart and wife Anna Maria.[1][2]

Anna married Daniel Kuckenheim in Rhinebeck, Dutchess, New York on 9 December 1756.[3] The couple had 12 children: John G Cookingham, Christina Kuckenheim, Catherine Kuckenheim, Gertrude Kuckenheim, Anna Kuckenheim, David Cookingham, Elizabeth Cookingham, Margaretha Kuckenheim, Magdelena Kuckenheim, Johann Michael Kuckenheim and Frederick Kuckenheim.

On 25 June 1758, Anna and husband Daniel Kuckenheim sponsored the baptism of Anna Maria Krebser, daughter of Ulric Krebser and Anna Maria Schaal at the Dutch Reformed church of Rhinebeck Flats.[4]

On 2 May 1762, Anna and Daniel also sponsored the baptism of their nephew Daniel, son of Johan Georg Kuckenheim and Anna Schmidt.[5]

Anna died at the age of 60 on 7 November 1795.[6]
