Travis - Edwin W. Travis aged 88, of Oakfield Township, passed away Tuesday morning at United Memorial Hospital in Greenville. Surviving are three sons, Eugene of Princeton, Ill., Holly of Oakfield Township, Carl of Grand Rapids; four daughters, Mrs. Leo (Ella) Cooper of Spencer Township, Mrs. William (Myrtie) Austin of Ann Arbor, Mrs. Harold (Lula) Allen of Evans, Mrs. Ed (Rollie) Ringler of Sacramento, California; 27 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren. Mr. Travsis reposes at the Pierce Mortuary, Rockford where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Dwight O. Jackson officiating. Interment Blythefield Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the chapel Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
