Mary was born in 1881. She is the daughter of William Travis and Virginia Parmley.
Wm. H. Travis (b. Oct 1849 in AL) was head of a household in the 1900 census for Jefferson Co., AL. He was living with wife Virginia Travis (b. Jul 1850 in TN), son John Travis (b. Dec 1877 in TN), son Beny Travis (b. Jan 1876 in TN), daughter Mary Travis (b. Jun 1881 in TN), and sister-in-law Rebecca Parmley (b. Feb 1832 in KY). WM. Travis was working in a (??) business.
