William Charles Lewis Travis was born on 21 January 1872 in Kent, Ontario, Canada. He was the son of John Travis and Mary Emanuel. The accoucheur was Catherine Morehead.^[1] In 1881 Charles lived with his parents and siblings in Raleigh Township, Kent County, Ontario.^[2]

Charles (age 22) married Jennie Davis on 2 October 1893 in Kent, Ontario, Canada.^[3]

In the 1901 census Charles (age 29), Farmer, was the married head of household in Chatham, Bothwell, Ontario.^[4] In the 1911 census Charles (age 38), Farmer, was the married head of household in Ontario.^[5]

Charles died in 1951 and was buried in Dresden Cemetery, Dresden, Chatham-Kent Municipality, Ontario, Canada.^[6]
