When Joseph Franklin Trayler was born on July 19, 1901, in Commerce, Texas,[1] his father, Emzy, was 27 and his mother, Nancy, was 28. He had two daughters with Mattie Belle Dunn between 1934 and 1940. He died on September 30, 1977, in Eakly, Oklahoma,[2] at the age of 76, and was buried there.[3]
