Biography

Moses Treadway was born about 1812 - 1820 in Union County, North Carolina. He passed away about 1891 in Swain County, North Carolina.

Moses Treadway was the first white man buried at Toestring. The Lamberts of Swain County by Carl G. Lambert, Sr.

At the 1870 census Moses Treadway was aged 56, b North Carolina, a farmer, with wife Polly was aged 49 b North Carolina, children Moses 14, Mary 12. [1]
