William was born in Watertown and moved with his parents to Colchester CT. His father died in 1728. On 12 Mar 1729, William and his brother Josiah transfer their interest in their father's estate to their brother James Jr, who was living on the property. William's name again appears in the land records beginning in 1733 when he starts to acquire land. He seems to transfer some of this land to his brother James in 1740/41, and sells his farm in Colchester in 1758 to James Ransom. Said to have removed to Salem CT.
Birth record in Watertown MA is available, but death record seems to be from family sources.
