He married twice:

1. 26 February 1789 to Esther Hine ( - 28 March 1792)^{[2] [3]}

1. 1 May 1794 to Esther Clark (23 August 1770 - 30 March 1845)^[2]

• Esther Eunice (20 March 1790 - ?), married Walter Smith of Ridgefield, Connecticut on 24 December 1809.

Research Notes

There are multiple SAR applications showing his death year as 1809 and death place as Orange, Connecticut. ^[5]

These same applications apply to his daughter Esther (1805-1889) who married Sylvester Barnes.
