Biography

Benjamin was born July 24, 1855, the son of Joshua Pitman Trefry and Sarah Hurlburt of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia[1]

On March 16, 1881, he married Jessie Cavanaugh/Cavanagh/Kavanagh, the daughter of William Cavanagh and Sarah Ann Hurlburt of Tusket, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia[2]

Some family trees on Ancestry.ca (behind a paywall) indicate Benjamin may have died on October 18, 1884, but give no references.
