1913, Divorce of Fanny and Clarence Ernest Caldwell in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Married at 18 and divorced at 21 is the record of pretty Fannie Caldwell of Greenwich, who was granted a divorce from Clarence Caldwell of Greenwich by Judge Case in the superior court this morning. The child bride said she lived with Caldwell six months but had to leave because of his cruelty. He threatened to kill her and himself with a revolver, tore up the pictures, threw peanut shells all over the floor, broke the chairs and otherwise acted like a wild man. Fannie said she married the defendant November 17, 1910. She is now employed as a milliner.[12]

1913, May 29. Marriage of Fanny and William Shakespeare Herrman in Westchester County, New York.[5]

1913, Jun. "Mrs. William Herrmann of New York is visiting with Miss Lulu Clark. Mrs Herrmann was formerly Miss Fannie Trefry."[14]

1913. As time went on, the electric refrigerator made the ice company obsolete. You did not need to have the ice delivered. You could make your own at home. The first “Domestic Electric Refrigerator” was marketed in Chicago in 1913. The Heart of New England.

1915, Jun 1. NY State Census. The Hermann family living at 204 Woodlawn Road, Bronx, New York. Head of household William Hermann, age 33, salesman; wife Fanny, age 23, housekeeper; son Harry, age 1. All born USA.[6]

1918. The flush toilet gains in popularity in the United States after World War I, when American troops came home from England full of talk about a "mighty slick invention called the crapper." 1929, Jan 2. Marriage of Fanny and Ernest Clarence Caldwell (her ex-father-in-law) in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, Connecticut.[8][11]

Head of household Ernest Caldwell, age 60, married, age at first marriage 50, born Connecticut, parents born Connecticut, plaster house; wife Fannie, age 37, married, age at first marriage 17, born Connecticut, father born Nova Scotia, mother born Wyoming; stepson Harry Herman, age 16, born New York, father born New York, mother born Connecticut.[3]

1932. The Stamford City Directory includes: Caldwell Ernest C (Fannie C) mason h N Stamford av Turn of River; [The 1933 Stamford Directories have no Ernest or Fanny Caldwell. The 1935 and 1936 directories have Ernest but no Fanny.][15]

1948. Full-scale commercial television broadcasting. "Four television networks, (NBC, CBS, ABC, and DuMont), broadcasting over 128 stations, begin a full prime-time schedule (8 to 11pm, Eastern Time), seven days a week." Television in the US: History and Production.

1955, Jul 25. Death of husband Ernest Clarence Caldwell in Newtown, Fairfield County, Connecticut.

1957, 1958, 1960, 1961. The Stamford City Directories have: Caldwell Fanny wid Ernest r 43 Glen av Glenbrook. The 1960 and 1961 directories has Fanny's occupation as housekeeper. [The 1955 and 1956 directories have no Ernest or Fanny Caldwell. The 1962 and 1964 directories have no Fanny Caldwell.][15]

1978, Jun 11. Death of Fanny Leona (Trefry) (Caldwell) (Herrman) Caldwell in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida.[4][7] "Caldwell, Fanny L., 86, of 1944 Chatham Road, West Palm Beach. Frank M. Legge Funeral Home. Lake Worth."[9]
