The 1871 Census lists Daniel as a 29 year old tin miner, born in Wendron. He is married to Mary Ann who is a year older than him. Also living in the household are his children; William H (4), and Susan A (1); and his brother was a boarder with them. Also living with them was Elizabeth J Pascoe a 15 year old servant.[3]
Daniel died on 13 Nov 1914, in Portland, Australia. His death notice read: [4]
DEATH - TRELOAR
On the 13th inst., at Portland, Daniel Treloar, formerly of Maryborough. Aged 73 years. Interred at Maryborough on 15 inst.
