Joseph-Marie Tremblay was born in 1740. ^[1].

He was the son of Guillaume Tremblay and Marie-Jeanne Glinel.

Born 13 APR 1740. Baie-Saint-Paul, Charlevoix, Québec, Canada.

Notes

One thing is not clear to me: his baptism record is part of the Baie-St-Paul registers, but it clearly states that he was baptised in the church of St-Louis de l'Isle aux Coudres, so that means that he must have been born there. I'm guessing that L'Isle aux Coudres parish must have been under the jurisdiction of Baie-St-Paul at the time. -Yves Jolly
