Message Board Post: Hi. I am definitely a descendant of Jeronimus Tricault. Unfortunately, I am precisely where everybody else is in Jeronimus' ancestry. (Who are his parents, grandparents, siblings, etc.?) I come down throught the de Rapelie line into the Hoochlandts (presently: Hoaglands). What do you need?
I am trying to find out if Jeronimus had any other children. I am in need of a son or brother for him. In my recent searching I have found another daughter for him by the name of Margaret Tricault (born abt. 1612) and that she married one - Jan De La Fontayne on May 21/1632. I also found out that Jeronimus Tricault married Michele Sauvagie and that Jeronimus was born in Jever, Osteeland, Holland abt. 1587.
Unfortunately, I can not help you on that score. I have found no siblings to Jeronimus or sons. I agree with you that he did have another daughter named Margriet. Where did you get the date for Margriet's marriage to Jan? My date is of June 9, 1632 in Amsterdam, Holland. In regards to Jeronimus, I have him born abt 1579 in Paris, France. All well! Unless someone goes to Paris and find the exact records, no date will be absolutely definite.
