Biography

John William Trigg was born in 1844 in Heydon, Essex, England, son of Rebecca (Mansfield) Trigg and William John Trigg.

He was christened on 8 January 1844 in Heydon.^[1]

John, with his parents William and Rebecca and siblings Mary, Joel, Susan, Maria, George, Ann, James, Sarah and Susan departed Southampton on "Constant" on 8 November 1854 and arrived Portland, Victoria on 22 February 1855.^[2]

John married Jane Hamilton in 1867 in Victoria.^[3] Their children were:^{[citation needed]}
