Jane Elizabeth Trigg (married name Brodie) was born on 31 December 1892 in Woodford, Victoria, Australia, daughter of Margaret (Cuppage) Trigg and George Christopher Trigg.^{[citation needed]}

She married James Brodie in 1916 in Victoria.^[1]

Jane died on 16 December 1988 in Grasmere, Victoria, aged 95 years.^[2] Her remains were buried at Warrnambool Cemetery in Warrnambool, Victoria.^{[citation needed]}
