William was born about 1783. He was the son of Philip Triller and Mary Catherine Young. In 1810, he married Charity Ann Simmerman/Zimmerman. He passed away about 1837.[1]
During the War of 1812, William Triller served as a private in the 2nd York Militia. He served from August 29 to September 9, 1812 in Captain James Mordan’s Company. [2]
He served from March 25 to June 2, 1813 he served in a mixed detachment under the command of Major Richard Hatt of the 5th Lincoln Militia. [3]
He served from November 29 to December 5, 1813 in a detachment under the command of Ensign Henry Beasley. [4]
He was recorded in the 1816 Nelson Twp. Assessment with 202 acres and in 1818 with 100. In 1827, William Triller was living near Bronte, Trafalgar Twp.
