Thorpe-1946 and Tripp-335 do not represent the same person because: different family, dates and places

Tripp-747 and Tripp-335 appear to represent the same person because: same birth info, death info, mother, and father

I've created a wiki tree page for "John Thorpe" as it's fairly evident that John Tripp ? John Thorpe. All the historical evidence point to John Thorpe having passed away by 25~ with only one child. Additionally, many of the Tripp children are of the wrong time to be John Thorpe's children.

The new profile is at: John Thorpe

I'm curious to know why John's last name is Tripp on Wiki tree, while all historical document point to his last naming being "Thorpe".

Should his last name on here be changed to Thorpe or is there a sound historical reason for "Tripp"
