Research Notes

There is quite a muddle trying to sort out the Henry Trivetts. It seems that at his marriage in 1863, Henry claimed to be about 4 years older that he was. In later Census, the same Henry with the same wife seems to be the correct age.

Another possible census IF the above is not correct. In the 1871 census Henry (age 22), Porter, was the boarder of George Newport in Gloucestershire, England.^[9]

In the 1881 census Henry (age 31), Warehouseman, was the married head of household at 10, White Thorn Place, St George in the East, London & Middlesex, England.^[10]

And another possible Marriage Henry married Emma Snell. The banns were read on 23 March 1884 in Shute, Devon, England.^[11]

Henry's marriage was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1884 in the Axminster district.^[12]
