I approved the merge with Trombauer-1, but I ask that the place of death be recorded as Saugerties, New York and that the date of death be recorded as 28 Jun 1785. I followed the information that was placed on his memorial in FindAGrave.com, and I have not seen any recorded documentation that makes me believe the information is not correct.
Trumpbour-6 and Trombauer-1 are not ready to be merged because: Before these records are merged the discrepancies in the date of birth, date of death and place of death need to be clarified or resolved. Simply because both records relate to the same spouse doesn't mean that they are records of the same person.
There is a difference in the spelling of the wife's name; however. research appears to show that it is the same person. Thus I agreed and the records were merged.
I cannot at this time agree that Trumpbour-6 and Trombauer-1 are records of the same person.
Trumpbour-6 and Trombauer-1 are not ready to be merged because: I am not convinced that they are the same person. DOB and death are different, plus Trombauer supposedly died in Canada, but was buried in Asbury, NY. On the other hand Trumpbour supposedly died in Saugerties, NY, and was buried in Asbury.
